Aerobics 2011

Our Year 4,5,6 Aerobics team, Waverley G.B. Jellybeans, consisted of Lucy Dawkes, Courntey Rodgers, Madi Burke, and Paris Taylor-Smith.
The team worked with Waine Harding who helped choreograph a 1.20-minute aerobic routine to a compilation of upbeat songs.
The team competed at BNZ Push Play Aerobics and Hip Hop Festival on Sunday 12 June. At this event the team received feedback from the judges. Over the next two months we modified the routine then practiced, practiced, practiced!
On Saturday 6th August Waverley G.B. Jellybeans competed against twenty-two teams in hope to be one of the twelve selected for the semifinals. The girls were outstanding and qualified. The video footage is of this performance. Unfortunately our performance early Sunday morning did not place us 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
Thank you parents for your continued support and encouragement. Thank you Waine for your expertise. I look forward to coaching again next year with both team and individual entries.
