Scholastic Book Fair
Monday, July 4, 2011 at 1:54PM The Cat in the Hat, Sponge-Bob, Scooby Doo: they were all here today in the form of staff members – all of whom prayed that there’d be no reason to stop on the way to work this morning!
The kids piled into the day with real enthusiasm: angels, fairies, pirates, the occasional Viking; and all four members of glam-rock 80’s band Kiss!
Thank you to everyone who went to the trouble (in many cases - a lot) of supporting
their Waverley kid get ready for the day. Assembly looked quite different today. In keeping with the concept of community participation, the gold coins collected from the dress-up participants will be donated to the Daffodil Day Appeal.
