Tuinga Tahi

Ngā Kākano o Tuinga Tahi

Tū mai e moko. Te whakaata o ō mātua. Te moko o ō tīpuna.

Stand strong, e moko.

The reflection of your parents. The blueprint of your ancestors.

Established in 2009 by Whaea Raiha, Tuinga Tahi stands as the proud embodiment of cultural excellence within our school community. As the premier whakataetae (competition) roopu of our kura, our mission resonates deeply: to empower our tamariki to embrace their identity within te ao Māori, through the vibrant art of kapa haka.

With dedication coursing through every practice session from Term 2 to the dawn of Term 4; Tuinga Tahi prepares meticulously for the prestigious Nga Pūtangitangi Kapa Haka competition.

Beyond the stage, our tamariki extend their talents to enriching community events, leaving an indelible mark of cultural pride wherever they perform.
